cant get that pinch harmonic! is another string possible?
if I play it on D string 4th fret, that's way easier? isn't quite the same though. second fret on A is very hard, the position of the harmonic is very close to others

One of the best opening riffs and songs for an album!
1-5-9 shapes require a wide stretch and can be tricky for some. In the opening riff the notes on the G string (E F#) can also be played on the B string. It introduces string skipping, but it narrows down the stretch. Btw, great vids on this channel, glad they showed up in my suggestions.

@@donlynch8285 yeah Don's a good singer but not a good frontman. So when they have concerts it's like the guys are checking out the guitarist and so are the girls.
I inherited some money from my grandmother and bought the 60s standard ice tea, wanted something to have for the rest of my life to remember her by. Thought a nice guitar is better than some watch. 3 more days and it'll be here, can't wait.

I would really like to have a set of these installed in my strat. Are the original 57/62 pickups the same as the "pure vintage" 57/62 strat pickups? I know that's probably a silly question but Fender will sometimes market two different sets as being similarly voiced. Great demo, by the way!
